The hospital has not specified how many employees will be laid off or what departments will be affected. That information is expected to be released April 5, according to the report.

The hospital attributed the workforce reduction to “continued financial challenges caused by decreased reimbursement and utilization, in addition to rising costs and changes in federal and state regulations and requirements,” according to the report.
