Las Vegas’ MountainView Hospital Announces Expansion

MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas has announced it has approved a $34 million expansion and renovation project, according to a MountainView news release.

The hospital plans to break ground on the project in early 2011. The project will include an expanded emergency department, additional intensive care unit beds and renovation to the medical/surgical unit.

The ED will nearly double in size and will include a new ambulance entrance, relocated helipad and “fast track” area for patients.
