KentuckyOne was formed in January upon the merger of Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s with Lexington, Ky.-based St. Joseph Health System. KentuckyOne says Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, the parent company of St. Joseph Health, will provide some legal services for the merged system.

The system has not specified how many employees will be let go. Attorneys employed by Jewish & St. Mary’s have been encouraged to apply for open positions, as CHI has an office in Kentucky.
