In the complaint, the hospital and physician group alleged their contract with the nurses prohibited work stoppages and are asking the court to force the CNA into arbitration.
The CNA’s Sept. 22 strike was intended to include more than 17,000 nurses, but roughly one-third of the nurses worked through the strike, according to the report.
