IU Health names chief strategy officer

John Ryan has been named chief strategy officer of Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health, according to a Nov. 6 health system news release shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Ryan brings significant leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO of OrthoIndy.

In his new role, he will oversee IU Health’s strategic planning and execution, according to the release.

IU Health has more than 39,000 employees as of 2024.
