Jeff Atwood, vice president of communications for RegionalCare, said the center is eliminating these jobs due to the facility’s current patient load, according to the report.
Most of the jobs cuts involve support positions that do not directly affect patient care. The hospital will offer employees a 12-week severance package that includes health insurance.
