Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.) said her congressional staff is keeping a close eye every Monday and Thursday, the two days the Supreme Court issues its rulings. She said it’s like a “war room” on those two days of the week, according to the report.
Seventy thousand people watched live reporting of opinions on SCOTUSBlog last Thursday, and more than fifty thousand were watching Monday morning, anticipating a court decision.
No ruling on the PPACA came Monday morning, meaning the nation must wait until Thursday for the Supreme Court’s likely decision.
Meanwhile, White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett said the administration “will be prepared” to respond to whatever decision the Supreme Court makes on the healthcare law, according to a Politico report.
