Illinois’ Mercer County Hospital Approves Affiliation With Genesis Health System

Mercer County Hospital in Aledo, Ill., has approved an affiliation with Davenport, Iowa-based Genesis Health System, according to a report by the Quad City Times.

The county board approved the four-year affiliation on a 7-3 vote.

The hospital had been operated by Genesis for the last 18 months as part of a management agreement. The recent vote formalizes the affiliation between the 25-bed hospital and the health system.
