Illinois’ Hammond-Henry Hospital Approves $21.5M Expansion Project

Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo, Ill., has received approval from its board to begin a $21.5 million capital project that would include renovation, demolition and expansion for the hospital, according to a report in the Geneseo Republic.

The project includes the addition of a third operating room to Hammond-Henry’s surgery center, a new therapy and rehab center, replacement of its long-term care facilities and demolition of 40,000 square feet of existing space, according to the report.

The project is expected to take two years.
