Centegra plans to file a certificate of need application with the Illinois Health Facilities Planning Board to build the 360,000 facility, named Centegra Hospital-Huntley.
The $233 million facility will include state-of-the-art technology, private patient rooms, a full-service emergency department, Level II nursery, non-invasive cardiology services, a dedicated women’s center and a helipad for transporting patients.
The project is expected to be complete by 2016.
