Advocate PHO: Data Registries Key to ACO Success

Lee Sacks, MD, CMO at Oak Brook, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care and CEO of Advocate Physician Partners, says data registries — including pharmacy, laboratory, electronic health record and chronic disease registries — are an inexpensive and essential component to success under the emerging accountable care organization model, according to a Health Data Management news report.
