IASIS Hires Former HCA Executive James Hoffman to Oversee Transactions

Franklin, Tenn.-based IASIS Healthcare has hired James Hoffman as a senior vice president tasked with overseeing the hospital operator’s acquisition strategy, according to a report by the Nashville Business Journal.

Mr. Hoffman has served as vice president of acquisitions and divestitures for HCA and as a general partner in three venture capital firms. He most recently served as senior vice president of development for Signature Hospital Corp. in Houston, according to the report.

Mr. Hoffman will report to IASIS president Carl Whitmer.
