HPOE Releases Reports on Population Health

Hospitals in Pursuit of Excellent, an arm of the American Hospital Association, has released a report on population health, according to an AHA News Now report.

The report, titled “Managing Population Health: The Role of the Hospital,” discusses the definition of population health, hospitals’ role in managing patient populations and strategies to improve a hospital’s patient population. Those strategies include collaborations with payors, public health agencies and other local healthcare providers.
