Hospital Prices Up 0.3% for November

Hospital prices increased 0.3 percent from October to November and 1.8 percent from Nov. 2009, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Producer Price Index.

Prices for physician offices were down 0.1 percent for the month, but rose 2.4 percent during the 12 months prior.

The PPI measures the average change in selling prices received by producers of goods and services over time.
