The Office of the Deputy Secretary of HHS plans to develop a workgroup to increase “high-level” dialogue between HHS leadership and private sector stakeholders focused on innovating and investing in the healthcare industry. HHS envisions the workgroup as a “forum to hear the individual perspectives of attendees and foster new and innovative approaches” to tackle challenges within the industry.

For the RFI, HHS is seeking feedback on how to structure the workgroup to support communication to “spur investment, increase competition, accelerate innovation and allow capital investment in the healthcare sector to have a more significant impact on the health and wellbeing of Americans.” The agency is also seeking input on how to increase public-private dialogue on these topics more broadly.
