In 2010, the health system generated total revenue $4.08 billion, an increase of $115 million from $3.96 billion in 2009.
The system’s admissions rose 2.6 percent from 2009 to 2010.
Despite its financial success, the hospital said economic conditions continue to challenge the hospital as demand for uncompensated care grows. In 2010, Henry Ford provided nearly $200 million in uncompensated care, up 15 percent from $173 million in 2009.
