Workplace clinics may include services such as primary and specialty care, pharmacy service, blood draws, x-rays and physical therapy. The clinics are intended to inspire behavioral changes that improve employee health on a long-term basis.

According to Stuart Clark, president of Comprehensive Health Services, employers will increasingly be responsible for conditions such as obesity and hypertension, and a clinic could save money by keeping employees healthier. On the other side, employees are granted lower co-pays or even seen for free.
