The new hospital, which has been under construction for more than two years, is being built to replace the current Marian Medical Center. The construction project is estimated to cost $210 million. The new Marian Medical Center will feature almost 200 private patient rooms and a new neonatal intensive care unit. Construction is expected to be completed in the beginning of 2012 and open to the public in March, according to the news report.
After the new hospital opens, the older Marian Medical Center will offer outpatient services and serve as storage space.
