Georgia hospital has emergency service provider take over ED

Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., announced that it will partner with a new provider for emergency physician services: ApolloMD.

Apollo is a leading multi-specialty, physician-led practice group based in Atlanta that currently operates in 17 states, including 15 emergency medicine contracts in Georgia. The ApolloMD providers specialize in process and quality improvements that lead to decreased wait times and increased patient satisfaction.

“We are so excited about partnering with Apollo MD,” said Farrell Hayes, CEO of Hutcheson Medical Center. “This collaboration will bring a tremendous level of clinical care to Hutcheson and improved patient satisfaction.  It’s a great day for Hutcheson and a much needed healthcare advancement for our community.”

ApolloMD began providing services at the medical center June 3.
