Former CNO of Hackensack Meridian behavioral health hospital dies

Shaun Sweeney, MSN, RN, former vice president of patient care services and CNO at Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, N.J., died Aug. 10 at the age of 58, according to an obituary published by the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home.

Mr. Sweeney had a more than 35 year long career at Carrier Clinic, which merged with Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health in 2019.

A spokesperson for Hackensack Meridian Health told Becker’s that a statement on Mr. Sweeney’s passing is forthcoming.
