Dr. Frieden will not serve jail time, and if he avoids arrest over the next year, the case will be sealed and dismissed, according to the report.
In August 2018, Dr. Frieden was arrested after turning himself in, according to ABC News coverage. He faced charges for groping a woman without consent at his apartment in New York City’s Brooklyn borough.
Dr. Frieden led the CDC from 2009-17. Prior to that, he was the New York City health commissioner.
