The 400-bed hospital has made large investments in specialized care, including an open heart surgery program and a cancer center.

“You don’t find too many community hospitals with a $75 million cancer center and an open heart program that’s rated number-one in the state,” Thomas Chakurda, vice president of marketing for the hospital said in the report.
