Mr. Kahn has served in his current role since 2001. As the leader of FAH, Mr. Kahn has created numerous successful healthcare campaigns to change the industry for the better. The campaigns include efforts to advocate for patient quality and safety, provide healthcare to the nation’s veterans and equip hospitals to handle with infectious diseases, environmental disasters and warfare attacks.
“Chip Kahn has used his leadership in the healthcare industry to help Americans get the hospital care they desperately need,” said B’nai B’rith International President Gary P. Saltzman. “Throughout his long career, Chip has played a key role in healthcare reform — that and his passion for the industry is why I am very pleased to…honor him with this award.”
A gala award dinner will be held in Mr. Kahn’s honor on June 22, in Washington, D.C.
