Health Professionals and Allied Employees Local 5004 — a union representing Englewood nurses — posted a robocall from its President Michele McLaughlin. Ms. McLaughlin said the layoff “will be far reaching,” and the union plans to meet with the hospital to discuss the layoffs Wednesday.
An Englewood spokesperson said the hospital is “facing the strain of the economic downturn,” according to the report.
