She will begin a three-year term in the role in January 2023 and until then will shadow the current chair to ensure a smooth transition, the Feb. 9 news release said.
Ms. Methvin worked at Shell Oil Co. for 33 years, holding various executive positions until her retirement in 2012. In 2013, she joined Memorial Hermann’s finance and system quality committees and then went on to chair both the compensation and finance committees.
