The union, which represents the hospital’s licensed practical nurses, pharmacists and lab technicians, are in the midst of contract negotiations with hospital leaders. The union is asking for minimum staffing ratios as part of its contract, according to the report. In response, the hospital said it is committed to excellent patient care and good working conditions.
