Washington’s Providence Health Acquires Spokane Cardiology

Spokane, Wash.-based Providence Health Care has acquired Spokane Cardiology in its effort to develop a new heart institute, according to a Spokesman-Review report.

The practice includes 15 cardiologists. The acquisition’s financial terms were not disclosed. Providence plans to continue its work with Heart Clinics Northwest, another independent practice in the area.

Through this acquisition, three of Spokane’s four independent cardiology clinics are now owned by hospital groups, according to the report.
