“Donald Trump has repeatedly reaffirmed his support for a healthcare mandate and for government-run health care, and the Club for Growth will continue to urge people to tell Trump that he’s wrong on this issue,” Club for Growth president David McIntosh, said in a statement on the group’s website.

The campaign uses a clip from a September 2015 CBS interview with Mr. Trump. When CBS’ Scott Pelley asks Mr. Trump how he will pay to “take care of everbody,” Mr. Trump replies, “The government’s gonna pay for it.”

The ad closes with the statement, “Ask Donald Trump why he sides with Hillary Clinton, and why he wants more government healthcare.”

The ad will cost the group $200,000, according to Politico.
