Bobby Huskey, a certified nursing assistant, works at Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital in Kings Mountain, North Carolina and was recognized as an “outstanding individual who demonstrates extraordinary care, compassion and concern for the health welfare of his community,” the press release noted.

The award is named after former president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, Dan Wilford, who was also a founding board member of CHC.

Mr. Huskey is “known for fostering a family atmosphere and cheer throughout the hospital, and often rallies staff for a celebration or holiday meal.”

CHC presented Mr. Huskey with a Waterford crystal bowl, a $500 gift card and a certificate of appreciation on July 15.
