MetroHealth originally projected it would eliminate 450 jobs, but that number will be closer to 429, according to a Cleveland Plain Dealer report. The health system did not say what specific positions will be cut, but it expects 11 percent of administrative services and 8.6 percent of support services will be reduced.
MetroHealth is trying to cut $30 million from its budget to offset an expected net loss of $1.1 million this year.
