The name recognizes a $100 million gift from philanthropist Anne Lurie — the largest charitable gift ever received in the hospital’s 125-year history.
The hospital will begin transferring roughly 200 patients from its former Lincoln Park location to its Streeterville facility on Saturday, when it will also begin admitting new patients.
