Children’s Health will provide a full range of pediatric health, wellness and acute-care services for children up to age 18. Along with Children’s Medical Center Dallas, the system includes Children’s Medical Center Plano (Texas), multiple specialty centers, and 18 primary care medical practices throughout north Texas.
“This announcement is formalizing the structure that we’ve built, which centers around families and their needs, improving access to care where they need it and how they want it,” said J. Durovich, president and CEO of Children’s Health.
Children’s Health will also focus on providing health and wellness services to children through community and faith-based organizations, as well as through alliances, such as one with Children’s Specialty Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.
