The 86-hospital system said CHE Trinity Health was the operating name used while naming options were explored for the enterprise, formed in May 2013 by the merger of Newton Square, Pa.-based CHE and Trinity Health in Michigan.
Trinity Health also unveiled a new purple and green logo that features a cross formed by doves’ wings.
“We are celebrating the new Trinity Health today with a new vision and strategy, a fresh look and many new opportunities,” said Richard J. Trinity Health employs about 89,000 people, including 3,300 employed physicians.
