California’s Eden Medical Center May Lay Off 5% of Staff

Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, Calif., may be announcing layoffs affecting no more than five percent of its staff, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

The hospital attributed the possible layoffs to decreasing patient volumes. EMC officials aim to finalize how many jobs will be cut by the end of the month.
