In June, Mr. Weiner replaced Todd Almendinger, who was recently promoted to president and CEO of the hospital. Mr. Weiner was drawn to the opportunity to serve as CFO of a smaller, community-oriented hospital on the cutting edge of health information technology and patient satisfaction, according to a news release.
Previously, he served as director of reimbursement and payer integrity for Zanesville, Ohio-based Genesis HealthCare System, where his responsibilities included Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement analysis and third-party payers predication and analysis, among other financial management tasks.
He holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from Ohio University.
