In his new role, Mr. Burris controls the finances of Sentara’s Blue Ridge Region, which includes RMH Healthcare and Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va., where Burris was CFO for 26 years. Previously, he’d served as CFO at what is now the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford, Va.
Mr. Burris, a CPA, earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Virginia Tech.
