Ms. Finney was promoted to Abrazo after serving 14 years as CEO of the 167-bed acute-care Los Alamitos (Calif.) Medical Center, another Tenet facility. Under her leadership, Los Alamitos Medical Center expanded to include urgent care centers, primary and specialty physician practices and a residency training program.
Ms. Finney spent her entire 36-year career with Tenet. The summer of her senior year of high school, she started at Tenet as a dietary worker in a hospital where her mother worked, according to Phoenix Business Journal. She earned her bachelor’s and later earned an executive MBA from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., while working full-time with Tenet.
