Ms. Boggs has nearly 40 years of healthcare experience. Previously, she served as senior vice president of system operations at Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health beginning in 2013, while simultaneously serving as president and CEO of Mission’s Marion, N.C.-based McDowell Hospital. She served as president and CEO since 2012, until her current appointment.
Prior to Mission Health, Ms. Boggs served as executive vice president and COO of St. Louis-based SSM Health Care, managing the operations of three St. Louis-based hospitals. She has previous leadership experience as president of Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, executive vice president and COO of Novant Health and director of emergency/trauma at Greenville (S.C.) Health System.
Ms. Boggs holds master’s degrees in business and nursing administration. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
