IU Health Enters Into Affiliation With CVS’ MinuteClinic

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has entered into a clinical affiliation with CVS Caremark’s Minute Clinic, according to a Minute Clinic news release.

Under the agreement, IU Health physicians will serve as medical directors for 19 MinuteClinic locations, including 17 in the Indianapolis area, one in Bloomington and one in West Lafayette. MinuteClinic and IU Health will also collaborate on patient education and disease management initiatives and will inform patients of the services each offers. 

Additionally, MinuteClinic and IU Health will work toward fully integrating their electronic medical record systems to better share patient information.
