California Healthcare Insurance Company taps Henry Mayo CEO as board chairman: 5 things to know

The California Healthcare Insurance Company, a medical malpractice insurance carrier based in Roseville, Calif., has elected Roger Seaver, president and CEO of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, Calif., as their new board chairman, according to a news release published by KHTS.

Here are five things to know about Mr. Seaver.

1. He was elected by the board of directors of the risk retention group, at the company’s Sept. 9 board meeting.

2. He will serve a two-year term as board chairman of CHI, a professional and general liability insurance company based in Roseville, Calif.

3. Mr. Seaver has been a CHI board member since 2007.

4. Most recently, he served in the positions of vice chairman and vice president.

5. Mr. Seaver has been president and CEO of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital since 2001.
