Boston’s Steward Health Care Cuts Business Office Positions

Boston-based Steward Health Care System has laid off an undisclosed number of business office employees at its six Caritas Christi Health Care hospitals, according to a Boston Globe report.

Steward cut positions in billing, finance and accounts receivable, among other departments, to consolidate the majority of administrative functions in Westwood, Mass., and in Boston.
