If Hillary Clinton takes office, he plans to continue to coordinate his Cancer Moonshot initiative from outside the administration. He said if Donald Trump takes the Oval Office, he hopes the initiative will continue “out of just pure patriotic necessity.”
The administration has called on Congress to approve $755 million to fund the Moonshot initiative, according to the report. Vice President Biden said he is hopeful the funds will be approved.
