BCBS of Georgia Launches Cost-Saving Imaging Services Program

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia has announced the launch of an imaging services program designed to improve quality and lower costs.

Under the program, BCBS of Georgia members who are referred by a physician for MRI or CT imaging services at a specific facility will receive cost and quality information on other in-network facilities offering the same services. Patients can then use this information to make an informed decision about where they want to receive care.
