New York’s St. James Mercy Hospital Restructuring Equivalent to 18 Full-Time Positions Lost

St. James Mercy Hospital in Hornell, N.Y., has restructured its staff due to bad economic times, according to an Evening Tribune news report.

According to the news report, the hospital’s restructuring included layoffs, restructuring departments and employee work hours and eliminating vacant positions. The changes, which are already effective, are equivalent to the loss of 18 full-time positions.
