Banner, which recently completed a merger with the University of Arizona Health Network in Tucson, is looking to lease a large office space at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and Thomas Road, according to the report.
Banner would relocate 800 employees to midtown Phoenix in 2015, the report reads.
Those employees would primarily be from Banner’s existing headquarters, near 12th Street and McDowell Road, as well as employees from a corporate office in Mesa, Ariz.
Banner officials told The Arizona Republic the move is needed to accommodate both office and clinical space that is necessary post-merger.
