Arizona’s Mercy Gilbert Names Tim Bricker as CEO

Mercy Gilbert (Ariz.) Medical Center has hired Tim Bricker as president and CEO, effective Jan. 17, according to an Arizona Republic report.

Mr. Bricker has more than 20 years of administrative healthcare experience, including time as CEO of Alta View Hospital in Salt Lake City and executive VP of Cascade Healthcare Community in Bend, Ore.

Mr. Bricker will replace the hospital’s founding president and CEO, Laurie Eberst. Ms. Eberst left last July to become president and CEO of St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Oxnard, Calif.

Mercy Gilbert is a Catholic Healthcare West hospital.
