Aria Health CEO to lead Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania board: 4 things to know

Kathleen A. Kinslow, EdD, president and CEO of Aria Health in Philadelphia, was elected chairwoman of the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania board.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Kinslow.  

1. She has served in her position at Aria Health since 2010, and previously was CEO and executive director of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System.

2. Dr. Kinslow joined Pennsylvania Hospital in 1992 as director of the school of nurse anesthesia, and since then she has held management and leadership positions, including vice president of clinical services/CNO, COO and, most recently, CEO and executive director.

3. She was vice president of hospital operations for the Philadelphia-based University of Pennsylvania Health System and has held the academic appointment of clinical assistant professor of nursing at the University of Pennsylvania since 2006.

4. In her new role, Dr. Kinslow succeeds Scott A. Becker as leader of the HAP board.
