Appeals Court Sides With Mississippi’s Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Discrimination Suit

Greenwood (Miss.) Leflore Hospital has prevailed a second time in a discrimination lawsuit filed against by a former hospital board attorney, according to a news report by The Republic.

George Dulin accused the hospital board, which is majority black, of firing him in 2006 because he is white. A federal judge tossed out the lawsuit, but Mr. Dulin’s attorney argued a jury should decide the ruling. Mr. Dulin lost his case in appellate court in a 2-1 decision against him for failure to prove intentional discrimination, according to the news report.
