AORN/Cardinal Health advisory board appoints new member

According to a news article, Leslie Petruzzelli, MBA, RN, has been appointed to the 2015 Association of Operative Room Nurses/Cardinal Health advisory board.

Ms. Petruzzelli currently serves as the executive director of perioperative services at Memorial University Medical Center, according to the article.

The board she is appointed to consists of 25 perioperative nurse leaders, the CEO of AORN, the current president of AORN and 5 to 6 Cardinal Health leaders.

The board was formed 20 years ago to “encourage networking among AORN members, perioperative leaders and Cardinal Health leaders.”
