AMGA selects 3 new board members

The AMGA, which represents medical groups and integrated healthcare systems, added three members to its board of directors.

The new members beginning their tenure in January 2017 are:

•    Mark DeRubeis, MBA, CEO of Monroeville, Pa.-based Premier Medical Associates
•    Shane Peng, MD, president of physician and ambulatory services at St. Louis-based SSM Health
•    Larry Tatum, MD, CEO of Privia Medical Group-North Texas, part of Arlington, Va.-based Privia Health.

The trade association’s current chair is Donn E. Sorensen, MBA, president of St. Louis-based Mercy’s East Region and the chair-elect is Ashok Rai, MD, president and CEO of Green Bay, Wis.-based Prevea Health.
